Interested in Receiving Meals on Wheels?
The Village is looking into participating in a Meals on Wheels Program. Before moving forward, we would like to gauge how many residents might use the service and help you, the residents better understand the program. Meals on Wheels is not only powered by volunteers, it’s also here to support community members who need assistance. Gathering this information will help determine planning efforts to have enough resources and volunteers in place.
If you or someone you know is struggling to prepare meals due to age, illness, or disability, you may be eligible to receive Meals on Wheels services. The program is designed to help individuals maintain independence while ensuring they receive regular, nutritious meals. For just $5.00 (per meal), meals include an entrée, vegetable, starch, bread/butter, ½ pint milk, and fresh or canned juice. Clients will be billed monthly by Southeast Clergy.
If you are interested in becoming a recipient of Meals on Wheels or would like more information, please contact Lori at Village Hall at 440 232-8788 or you can contact Bret Johnson with the Southeast Clergy at 419-265-0509.
