The Village of Glenwillow is a unique community located in the southeastern part of Cuyahoga County. The Village blends its history together with modern housing stock and industrial and commercial industries. Glenwillow’s history began over 100 years ago with the relocation of the Austin Powder Company from the City of Cleveland. In the last 30 years, the Village has installed all utilities and infrastructure for residential growth as well as industrial

CUYAHOGA COUNTY CDBG & CDSG MUNICIPAL GRANT PROGRAMS
The Village of Glenwillow is eligible to apply for 2026 Federal Community Development Block Grant Funds administered by Cuyahoga County through the Department of Development.  Funds can be used a variety of housing, economic development and community improvement projects. Residents are invited to attend a public hearing to voice their opinions on local housing and community development needs or to submit opinions in writing to the address below. A list of eligible activities and application requirements will be provided at the hearing to be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at 7:00 pm at the Glenwillow Village Hall at 29555 Pettibone Road, Glenwillow, Ohio.  For further information please contact Mayor Mark. A. Cegelka at 440-232-8788. Any person wishing to attend and requires special accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act, please contact the Mayor no later than 72 hours prior to the public hearing.
