The Village of Glenwillow is a unique community located in the southeastern part of Cuyahoga County. The Village blends its history together with modern housing stock and industrial and commercial industries. Glenwillow’s history began over 100 years ago with the relocation of the Austin Powder Company from the City of Cleveland. - As construction progresses with the Ravenna-Shepard-Richmond-Broadway Intersection Improvements, work will be moving to the Shepard Road leg of the intersection. In order to safely facilitate construction Shepard Road will be closed to southbound traffic between Broadway/Ravenna and Florence Drive. The posted detour will take traffic over to Macedonia Rd/Bedford Rd and come back to Shepard on Ledge Rd. Northbound traffic will still be permitted on Shepard Rd, however please be patient with occasional construction delays. Signage has been installed this week notifying motorists of the upcoming closure. The closure is expected to be in place from 10/6/25 to 11/26/25.

- Â IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT TRASH AND RECYCLING–Please have containers out by 7AM on Mondays. Republic Services, the Village’s waste hauler, will now start pick up in the Village between 7AM & 8AM.
