WELCOME TO THE VILLAGE OF GLENWILLOW

HONORING THE PAST · WELCOMING THE FUTURE

The Village of Glenwillow is a unique community located in the southeastern part of Cuyahoga County. The Village blends its history together with modern housing stock and industrial and commercial industries. Glenwillow’s history began over 100 years ago with the relocation of the Austin Powder Company from the City of Cleveland. In the last 30 years, the Village has installed all utilities and infrastructure for residential growth as well as industrial

development. Today, while the population is approximately 1,000, the workforce population exceeds 7,000 within the over 80 businesses who call Glenwillow home. Residents may take advantage of perks and special opportunities only found in a small community such as this. This website will give you a good understanding of what we are all about.

  • Community Garage Sale Saturday August 16th. Click here for a copy of the participants Community Garage Sale
  • Concert in the Park Sunday August 10th, 5PM tp 7PM. 
  •  IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT TRASH AND RECYCLING–Please have containers out by 7AM on Mondays. Republic Services, the Village’s waste hauler, will now start pick up in the Village between 7AM & 8AM.

  • Concert in the Park featuring Still Standing

    Four veterans of the Cleveland music scene have come together to blend their musical skills to form a "legacy" group. Combining lush vocal harmonies with precision and a versatile song list that covers hits from the 70's to today.!

  • Community Garage Sale

    The Village will be hosting a Village Wide Community Garage Sale

    All households are welcome and encouraged to participate.
    If you have things to sell, join us in the Glenwillow Community Garage Sale. You may set up your sale at your own home. Ads will be placed in the local papers and maps will be drawn up showing all the homes who are participating. Maps can be picked up at the new Service Center, 28555 Pettibone Road, during the time of the sale, to anyone who would like to locate participants and do some shopping.

    If you would like more information or want to participate, contact Lori at the Village Hall by August 8th so your address can be placed on the list and added to the map.

  • The Village received a grant in the amount of $150,000 from the County for improvemnets to the Donald Norman Payne playground.  The project is due to start this summer.
